Job Purpose
To perform local supplier management activities so as to improve supplier quality level.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Cooperate with sourcing function to perform new supplier qualification, including supplier quality management system and process audit, sample approval and supplier PPAP package review and signoff.
2. Conduct regular supplier quality management system and process audit to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
3. Conduct supplier process capability assessment and utilize statistical techniques to verify quality and reliability in support of incoming inspection free approval.
4. Communicate with suppliers to gain agreement on the disposal of non-conformity material.
5. Release supplier corrective action report and follow up till closure.
6. Monitor supplier quality performance and feed back to supplier.
7. Conduct training and provide application guidance on Haworth Manufacturing System tools and other tools (or engages a colleague to do so) in order to enhance supplier competence in quality, productivity, efficiency and waste elimination.
8. Participate in annual internal audit as internal auditor to ensure that quality management system effectiveness is up to ISO9001:2015 requirements.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
? Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
? Minimum of 4 years or experience
? Preferably a certified quality engineer
