Job Description:
• Responsible for managing lean activities in accordance with the corporate vision in the Asian production locations of the Busch Group
• Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes/components/technologies as well as ensuring sustainability
• Continuously review manufacturing and related business processes to reduce non-value-added activities
• Training and support of multipliers, managers and employees regarding the topic of Lean Management
• Responsible for the definition and visualization of Lean related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• The implementation of improvement projects / initiatives across the organization. Provide project management, analytical skills and expertise.
• Support all manufacturing areas in establishing and maintaining standard work and continuous flow including 5S.Evaluate and recommend design of new and existing processes and equipment and support implementation of new processes
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma or Design Excellence tools to identify and execute cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects
• Collaborate within departments and across departments to meet customer requirements
Qualification and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing (e.g. Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience
• Six Sigma and/or LEAN certification preferred
• Possesses a general understanding of technical topics (through technical background or work experience) or a related field
• Experience with vacuum pump manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including the ability to rationalize conclusions, make recommendations, and comply with documentation requirements
• Must be able to present complex and/or technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences so they can understand and act on the information
• Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
• Proven implementation responsibility in the area of continuous development
• Work effectively with others in a diverse and inclusive matrix environment
• Fluent English
